Artist Suzanne Lee presents Nest as a "safe haven where the young are nurtured and encouraged to discover…themselves. The birds in flight represent the students' personal growth, independence and endless possibility." The piece depicts fern fronds and several birds in flight.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Tacoma School District.
