Arts in Education Grants

Arts in Education (AIE) grants invest in partnerships between schools, community organizations, and teaching artists. These partnerships support arts learning as an essential part of basic education for pre-school and K-12 students. AIE grants support curriculum development, arts learning projects, professional learning for educators, efforts to increase access, and more.

FY24 Grant categories

Creative Start Project Grant

Supports projects that expand opportunities for PreK to 3rd grade students to engage in arts integrated learning.

Application opens March 15, 2023.

AIE Project Grant

Supports collaborative arts education projects for PreK-12 students in schools, nonprofits, tribal communities, and community settings.

Application opens January 25, 2023.

When new grant programs open, we provide grant information sessions for applicants to guide them through the process.

Current grantees final report deadline | July 31, 2023

We require all ArtsWA Grantees to submit a final report about their grant. Read more about the final report requirements in the Managing Your Arts in Education (AIE) Grant section on the Managing Your Grant page.
