ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Margaret Davidson created the imagery of shadows and objects on a frozen pond in her figurative drawing 'The Pond is the Field -- no splash.' The artist notes that this piece is an articulation of the comfort and hope she feels knowing "the earth is constantly, inexorably changing, and is not at all under total human control."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
