ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Indian Canoe was taken by photographer Carolyn D. Hoffman on Eld Inlet, a southern portion of the Puget Sound located on the west side of Olympia in Thurston County. This image was processed to increase the detail of shadowed areas. This technique highlights the subtle textures of the natural landscape.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Vancouver School District.
