ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the whimsical painting Loon Tale , artist Isabel Sim-Hamilton depicts a loon and a goose dressed in finery, interacting with a woman with a skeptical expression. Hamilton uses these imagined creatures in her artworks to explore how we communicate and relate to ourselves and our environment.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with South Seattle Community College.
