ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Jim Hodges created the triptych drawing Flowers for Nana for Willard Elementary School. The three panels show an interior scene with a shifting perspective. He gives the composition a sense of movement, like the room is spinning. Many of the items in the room are repeated side by side using energetic marks and erasures.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Spokane School District.
