This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Corrections and Battle Ground School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ann Hughes is an Oregon-based photographer and graphic designer. She was a founder of Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, and served as co-director from 1975 to 1979. She has served as a visiting instructor and guest lecturer at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. She received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in graphic design from Portland State University in 1971.
