ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Kathleen Caprario drew inspiration for Morning Shine from Western American landscapes and rock formations. This piece is part of a group of paintings characterized by large metallic-leafed frames. The artist notes that these pieces "evoke a dream-like journey of the imagination made possible and real by the level of realism present in the work."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Transportation.
