ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Raven's House is a multi-layered painting by artist Debra Davis. It depicts the common raven, which can be found in the forests and foothills of the eastern Cascade Range mountains of Washington state. Ravens are intelligent and playful birds, and have an important role in the ecosystem as the opportunistic scavenger.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Lower Columbia College.
