ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Ellen Steinfeld created the vibrantly colorful painting Comet Tango by layering painted plywood forms. The imagery explores color, motion and space. Steinfeld notes that this piece was inspired by colored photos taken of various planets, and seeks to convey "a message of excitement and hope as well as the adventure of discovery."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with North Kitsap School District.
