ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Walk was painted by artist Cheri O'Brien in the winter of 1994 and composed to highlight the moods and colors of the Northwest winter landscape. This piece is part of the artist's body of work that explores the interaction between humans and dogs. O'Brien notes that dogs "are a joyous, happy animal that have lots of character which I try to show in my work."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with North Kitsap School District.
