ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Roger Jones created the stylized landscape painting Untitled (Tree) . The composition highlights the detail and texture of an imagined tree standing out against a bright green landscape. The artist notes that he finds “delight in the challenge of creating a meaningful composition that not only will capture the viewer’s eye, but may also tease and move it through the painting.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Peninsula College.
