ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Capturing the variations and vibrancy of natural sunlight, these blown glass panels by artist Sonja Blomdahl are installed at Spokane's Westwood Middle School, in Eastern Washington. The title Synergy refers to the local and school community that is greater than the sum of its parts. The Greek word "syneria" means "working together."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Cheney School District.
