ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Heritage are a suite of two mosaic murals created by artist team Carl Bryant and Sandra Bryant. They created the murals for Nelson Elementary School in Graham, in Northwest Washington. In this smaller mural, a flock of migrating Canada geese flies across the artwork. They suggest how learning and education can be a cooperative adventure. The artists note, "We celebrate relationships between humanity and our environment, our human connections, how our experiences intertwine, our history, our feelings over time and of the moment."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bethel School District.
