ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In artist Ann Grayson's painting, Grandma's Chair we see a solitary figure enjoying the breeze floating in through an open window. Grayson notes, "As an urban child in a very crowded world, I always imagined that if l had a grandmother, I could go to her house and rest and be cared for.
