ABOUT THE ARTIST
New York City-based artist Andrew Keating creates dream-like and emotive drawings, paintings, and animations. His surrealistic compositions are populated with stylized figures and objects. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Hobart College in Geneva, New York, in 1970. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of Washington in 1974. He made his home in and actively exhibited his artwork in Seattle from that time until the 1990s when he relocated to New York.
