ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Painter's Dog is a street photograph taken by artist Robert Haft in Oakland, California, and is part of a series titled "Walk This Way" that explore "the curious objects and markings on streets and sidewalks". This piece captures the charming, spontaneous moment in which a dog paused to stretch across a paint-splattered sidewalk.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with North Kitsap School District.
