ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Ceramic Wall Relief is an eight-element sculpture and is part of artist Geoffrey Pagen's investigation into abstract geometric forms and the interaction of colors. Each ceramic component was fired using a "Raku" technique, in which unglazed areas turn gray and black from smoke.
