ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A Stitch in Time is a concept-based installation of found objects created by artist Jim Pridgeon. He used historic items from Franklin High School for the installation. A forty-foot periscope runs from the school commons to the attic. If you look through the periscope, you see two different groups of objects. The first contains suspended band instruments. The second contains historic sports equipment. Together these installations create a nostalgic tableau.
