ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Tulip Field and Barn is a hand-colored photograph by artist Patricia Ridenour. She captured this image of tulip fields in the Skagit Valley of Northwestern Washington. She notes, "For thirteen years I have gone to the Skagit at the time of tulip, daffodil bloom. It never ceases to amaze me, the burst of color that goes to eternity as the rows hit the horizon. These annual trips have grown to be markers in my life."
