ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Daisy Swarm is a photograph by artist Deborah Giannini. This sepia-toned image captures a sun-drenched field set against the dark background of tree trunks. Flowers are common subjects for Giannini. She notes, “Flowers are a link to something more real and meaningful than just beauty…They live and die in a few days; they keep me closely in touch with process, with growth, and the seasons of nature and life.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Spokane Falls Community College.
