ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Geometries: Circle is part of a series of four multi-layered prints created by artist Karen Guzak. The layers were composed using computer-generated imagery, and the artist rotated and shuffled the order in which the layers were applied to create variations in form and color from print to print.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bremerton School District.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artist Karen Guzak runs an artist studio in Snohomish, AngelArmWorks, renovated from a historic church. She has taught art at Seattle Pacific University and acted as president of the board of Artist Trust. She has committed herself to art, public service, and yoga.
