ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Beliz Brother modeled Flow after the patterns and systems of exchange found in both the human body and nature. Installed within the Harned Center for Health Careers at Tacoma Community College, this sculpture symbolizes "our oneness with nature and the understanding that we as human beings are connected in care of each other and in the care of the world around us."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Tacoma Community College.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Seattle-based artist Beliz Brother creates site-specific public art installations. Her abstract artworks are inspired by complex natural processes and systems of interaction. Brother received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Prescott College in Arizona.
