ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Fast Horses is a ten-print composition of photographs created by artist Colleen Chartier. Featuring images of toy horses running together, the composition gives a sense of movement and space.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Corrections.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Colleen Chartier is a Seattle-based fine art photographer. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington in 1978. Her artworks are featured in museum collections including the Seattle Art Museum and the Denver Art Museum.
