ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Mike DeVoe created this archway to greet the community at the entrance to Inglewood Middle School. He laser-cut steel to create the detailed plant motif and leaping deer figures.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Lake Washington School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mike Devoe creates figurative sculptures. He lives and works on Vashon Island in South Puget Sound, Western Washington. Devoe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1973.
