ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Liang Wei's House Boats painting was partly inspired by the scenic imagery within the city of Seattle. He also wanted to express "man's attachment to and his harmony with Nature. It is the ripples on the lake and house boats that keep people company on sleepless nights."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bethel School District.
