ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In her piece Dreaming in Rhythmic Blues artist Judy McMillan explores the harmony and balance found in blue tones. The composition is filled by patterned green twists, which the artist describes as "paths to follow around the cool palette, in and out of the broken confinement of the borders. Boundaries are pierced by delicate forms."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kent School District.
