ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Red Boat is a colorful narrative painting by artist Donna Mossholder. It combines landscape and dream-like imagery. She notes, “I wanted to express the attitude of stillness and tranquility surrounded by a chaotic force of energy, a secret and interior space like the calm in the eye of the hurricane or the subconscious in the center of conscious activity and turmoil.”
