ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Richard Yoder (1947-2014) created trompe l'oeil paintings that used visual illusions to trick the eye. He grew up in Corvallis, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene in 1974. He received a master's degree from the University of Washington in 1976. He lived in New York and Arizona before settling in Pasco, Southeastern Washington in 2008.
