Long Beach Creative District

Located on the west side of the Long Beach Peninsula and extending to the beach, Long Beach Creative District encompasses most of downtown. Long Beach Creative District is home to a vibrant creative economy featuring everything from a craft distillery to art galleries, museums, and music venues. Long Beach is one of Washington’s oldest seaside resorts and has drawn visitors for its spectacular local environment, the community’s unique history, and a thriving artistic community for over a century.

The Long Beach Creative District features:

  • An ocean-side boardwalk and art installations along the Discovery Trail
  • The World Kite Museum
  • World-class art galleries and music venues
  • Curated retail shops
  • Restaurants featuring local delicacies
  • A craft distillery

“The Creative District designation is the culmination of the kind of collaboration and creative energy that makes us unique. We are proud to show visitors the wide-ranging creative spirit of our entrepreneurs,” said Long Beach Mayor Sue Svendsen. “From music to theater, writers to sculptors, brewery to distillery, the pioneer spirit and can-do attitude is reflected in this incredible honor. We feel it will help bring visitors with similar vision.”
