This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Pateros School District.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

New Mexico-based artist Jennifer Bain creates abstract paintings influenced by the landscape and natural forms.
Born in New York, Bain received an Associate of the Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles, California in 1975. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland in 1982. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1985.
