ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of a suite of five etchings by artist Barbara Robertson, Vanishing Point is composed of abstract elements that reference natural and geological formations. It is inspired by the color and light of the American Southwest landscape, where the artist lived for several years. Its imagery suggests the "impression of the earth as a dynamic evolution on many levels, physical and intellectual."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Clark College.
