ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Gerry Newcomb's cast glass, copper, and wood sculpture Garden Stele references historic monuments and signposts that mark events or people of importance. Built as a hollow tower, the composition interplays linear and organic shapes.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Methow Valley School District.
