ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Patrick Zentz designed this sculpture to work with a weather station atop Olympic College's Science and Technology building. When approached, the artwork translates current wind, temperature, and time into light and sound patterns.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Olympic College.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Patrick Zentz creates sculptural and environmental installations. His artworks incorporate kinetic, sound, and environmental elements.
Zentz studied biology and genetics at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Montana in 1974.
