(American, born 1925, died 2016)
Location: Ocosta Junior-Senior High School, Westport
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Starry Night is a night landscape by artist Carol Summers. She created the print using woodcut blocks. She inked the blocks to print each color layer. She then sprayed the print with mineral spirits so the ink would dissolve into the paper.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Ocosta School District.
