Location: Skagit Valley College - Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Field Bird is a subtle and luminous painting by artist Ed Musante, and is part of a body of work that features a solitary figure, composed to express a mood or feeling. He notes that these works "usually materialize as a result of sanding into layers of paint and paper and letting the resultant marks dictate the direction of the painting."
