ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Violet/Chrome/Green is a blown glass vessel created by artist Sonja Blomdahl as an exploration of the relationship between form, color, proportion, and process. The artist notes that her works reference human forms, and describes this double-curved piece as having "a clearly defined waist, shoulder, and neck."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Puyallup School District.
