ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Benson Shaw installed 166 glass mosaic "dots" throughout Dean Hall at Central Washington University where their blue color add to the architectural "river" designed into the space.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Central Washington University.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Seattle-based artist Benson Shaw creates sculptures and architectural installations for public places in a variety of media. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from Colorado College and a Master of Arts degree in sculpture and art history from the University of New Mexico.
