ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Patty Sgrecci's "Prairie Song" celebrates the landscape and wildlife that surround Spokane, Washington's Prairie View Elementary.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Mead School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Vermont-based artist Patty Sgrecci creates kinetic mobiles. These colorful sculptures combine a variety of materials. They highlight the relationship between form, light, balance, and motion.
Sgrecci received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. She previously lived in Sequim, Washington.
