ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Zuzu's Paradise is part of a series of three wall installations created by artist Dan Snyder for Stanley Elementary. He filled the wall with colorful and joyful painted figures and images. He based some of the images on drawings created by students at Stanley. In this piece, two large figures seem to dance. Musical notes, symbols, and leaping animals surround them.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Tacoma School District.
