ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Mystery is part of a series of sculptures by artist Kathy Gore-Fuss that combine human hands with objects and natural elements. Dried flower petals and relief prints made using antique lace and bird feathers embellish plaster forms. The artist notes, “There is hope that the wonder and mystery of reading is animated in these forms, sparking a little magic for the viewer and the space it resides in.”
We do not currently have a digitized image of this artwork. This is a very similar artwork in the same series.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Aberdeen School District.
