(American, born 1941)
Location: Canyon Park Junior High, Bothell
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Interior Lighting is an engraved print by artist Brian Paulsen. He designed the composition by first painting the image in watercolor. He notes that the imagery references his memories of church potluck dinners he attended as a child. The boat and railroad track reference religious symbols, as well as symbols of escape.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
