ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Three Oranges is a pastel drawing by artist Steve Gardner. It is part of his body of work that implies a story while leaving the meaning open to interpretation. He notes, “The image depicts a woman with a bowl of fruit, but there is an attempt to infuse a sense of mystery and uncertainty about the mood as well.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Federal Way School District.
