ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Clear Creek, Zion National Park was taken by photographer Neil McWee in Utah. This piece captures the scale, color, and texture of a canyon wall along the Virgin River. McWee sees his photographs of State and National parks as documents for future generations. He notes that his images help viewers understand how our parks hold "aesthetic, recreational, spiritual and educational value to the American society."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Highland School District.
