Lawry Gold creates paintings, drawings, and prints. He lives and works on Vashon Island in Puget Sound, Western Washington.
Gold has taught at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, The Evergreen State College in Olympia, the Bellevue Art Museum School (all in Western Washington), and the University of Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
