Richard Andrews

Artist Richard Andrews creates abstract sculptures and works on paper. He served as the director of the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington in Seattle for over 20 years. He also oversaw the Seattle Arts Commission from 1978 to 1984 and chaired the University of Washington public art commission for many years. He currently serves as president of the Skystone Foundation, which oversees artist James Turrell's Roden Crater Project in Arizona. He received a Bachelor of Art degree from Pomona College in California, and Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle.
