Lisa Little

(American, born 1967)

Lisa Little creates public art that often intersects with her engineering and architecture backgrounds. Her work aims “to engage ambient phenomena through built form.”

Little holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). She is a licensed architect who designs private homes and commercial interiors. She also teaches design at the University of Southern California. She is principal of her own architecture practice, Vertebrae, and was a co-founder of Layer, an artist team exploring materials and art installations.
