ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by Tesla coils, this large-scale metal sculpture depicts an enormous electrical current moving across the long central atrium of Spokane Community College's Technical Education Building.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Community Colleges of Spokane.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Seattle-based artist Susan Zoccola creates sculptural and architecturally integrated installations for public spaces. She studied at the San Francisco Institute of Art in California and the University of Washington in Seattle.
