ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Wayne Chabre designed Transformation to soften the interior environment of the family visitation area at Western State Hospital in Tacoma. The three metalwork panels include plant motifs of sunflowers, thistles, and trees.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Social and Health Services.
