Rebecca Cummins and Paul DeMarinis are collaborating artists. Together they created kinetic sculptures that engage the viewer with a heightened awareness of the universe.

Seattle-based artist Rebecca Cummins explores the sculptural, experiential and sometimes humorous possibilities of light and natural phenomena. Cummins is a Professor at the University of Washington, Seattle. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She received a Master of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She received a Doctorate from the University of Technology, in Sydney, Australia. She previously taught at the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney.

Paul DeMarinis creates interactive electronic and audio environments and performances. His work explores time and memory through technological activity. He teaches at Stanford University in Stanford, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Mills College in Oakland, California.
